Honor and Serve
“…to those fallen officers that gave the ultimate sacrifice…”
The Honor Guard is a ceremonial unit that exists to pay respect to those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The primary role of the Honor Guard unit is to provide funeral honors for fallen comrades and also provide color Guard for parades or events in which the National colors are posted. There are currently 19 active officers who are members of the unit.
The Broken Arrow PD makes it a priority to attend line of duty deaths in the State of Oklahoma and sometimes even outside of Oklahoma.
The Honor Guard also pays tribute to officers who have served as a full-time police officer but have passed not in the line of duty, both current and retired law enforcement members.
The Honor Guard also:

The Broken Arrow Honor Guard are one of the few in NE Oklahoma that have a Rifle Volley Detail and a bugler.
